Photos from recent spray foam insulation jobs we’ve done around Northland. Includes underfloors, walls, roofs, ceilings, and a mix of residential and commercial work.

Project: Deck roofing insulation – Whangarei

This rustic deck had 50mm of closed cell spray foam applied directly to the roofing iron to reduce radiant heat and prevent condensation from dripping. Extensive preparation was carried out to ensure the re-purposed power poles character were protected from foam overspray. The foam will be covered with over 700 finishing timbers!

Project: Brewery Storage Container insulation – Kerikeri

This container is for the storage of beer & wine. To prevent temperature fluctuations and condensation we installed 40mm of closed-cell spray foam in this storage container. The client opted to leave the foam in its raw finish as it will hardly see UV light.

*The foam can also be coated in acrylic paint, elastomeric coatings, intumenscient coatings or polyurea protective coatings depending on requirements.

Project: Soffit Insulation – Te Arai Links

This 800m2 bach at Te Arai Links required 150mm of closed cell spray foam insulation to the soffit overhang. With limited access we used 50 meters of heated hose to reach this area.

Project: Container Insulation for student area – Huanui College

This container for Huanui College’s student learning area has been insulated with 40mm of closed cell spray foam on the walls & ceiling. Before the foam application there was huge amounts of condensation in the mornings. The condensation was instantly gone after foam had been applied.
