Polyurea Projects

Seamless protection across pools, animal facilities, industrial tanks and commercial floors.

Here is some of our work, showing finished surfaces as well as the preparation and controlled application behind them.

Glen Innes public pools

Commercial spa pool restoration

Existing epoxy removedPure polyureaPolyaspartic topcoatSeamless finish

The existing epoxy coating in this public spa pool was due for remedial work. After removal and surface reinstatement, we installed a pure polyurea lining followed by a coloured polyaspartic topcoat.

The finished system provides a continuous protective surface with the flexibility, chemical resistance and abrasion resistance needed in a demanding aquatic environment.

Animal shelter kennel coatings

Approximately 45 kennelsFrequent washdownSeamless finishMoisture and waste resistance

Polyurea protective coating was installed to approximately 45 kennels at the Whangārei District Council Animal Shelter.

The system was chosen to create a durable, hygienic surface that resists moisture, animal waste and repeated cleaning while remaining straightforward to maintain.

Industrial asset protection

Industrial tank lining

The industrial tank was prepared by others. LJ Solutions then applied polyurea to the walls and floor in accordance with the specified lining scope.

The specified lining system was certified to AS/NZS 4020 for contact with drinking water.

Seamless flooring

Commercial kitchen floor application

Hot-applied polyureaRapid cureSeamless detailingHard-wearing surface

Hot-applied polyurea can form a fast-curing, continuous floor system for commercial kitchens and other operational areas where downtime, cleaning and surface wear need to be considered together.

This application view shows the controlled spray process and the detailing carried through at the floor-to-wall junction.

Behind the application

Controlled setup supports the finished result

Fast-reacting polyurea systems depend on more than the spray pass. Material conditioning, site setup and simple application checks are part of preparing the system for controlled installation.

Polyurea material drums being conditioned before application

Material conditioning

Components are brought into the correct working range before they reach the proportioning equipment.

Polyurea spray area prepared with access, lighting and containment

Site setup

Access, lighting, masking, ventilation and surrounding surfaces are planned around the application area.

Simple polyurea samples prepared during site setup

Application checks

Simple site samples help confirm the material and equipment are ready before the main application continues.
